With the figs in every course contributing a fair amount of carbohydrate to the meal, I didnt serve any bread or other starch. As a result, we all had room for dessert. Epicurious.com once again came through with a fantastic recipe. As fancy as this looks, it was actually quite easy to make. The rosemary-scented tart shell and muscarpone cream layer were only lightly sweetened which kept the dessert from being overly cloying. It was, however, pleasantly rich. Although the recipe claims to make 6 servings, it easily serves 10.
